Brigadier Kuldip Singh Chandpuri was an Army Major amid the 1971 India-Pakistan war. He had held his post during that time in the celebrated clash of Longewala in Rajasthan with only 120 men against an undeniable assault by propelling Pakistani Patton tanks.
